In January of 2011, Kristen Roderick of The Hutchinson News did a feature on The Raz’s own Chef Jeff Hoyt. Here are two quick excerpts:
Managers at The Raz credit Hoyt for the soups and sauces he brings to the restaurant. He’s always willing to try something new, but he’s modest about it. He won’t say how good he is at cooking.
He attended culinary school for a year and the list of restaurants he has worked with is impressive. It ranges from Yia Yia’s Euro Bistro to Macaroni Grill. He was there when the River City Brewery opened its doors. Recently he was the sous chef for five years at Prairie Dunes Country Club.
